Ingredients
  

For the Spicy Sriracha Aioli

  • cup vegan mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoon Sriracha sauce
  • 1 tablespoon freshly squeezed lime juice

For the cauliflower

  • 8 to 9 cups cauliflower florets (two-bite size)
  • 2 tablespoon vegetable oil plus 4 to 6 cups for deep-frying
  • 1 teaspoon sea salt
  • ½ teaspoon ground pepper

For the batter

  • 1 cup unsweetened nondairy milk
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • ¼ cup buffalo-style hot sauce
  • 2 teaspoon cornstarch
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon sea salt
  • 1 tablespoon chili powder
  • 2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon ground pepper
  • 1 teaspoon ground sage
  • 1 teaspoon ground coriander
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon celery salt
  • ½ teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • ½ teaspoon ground cumin
  • ½ teaspoon ground allspice

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • In a bowl, combine vegan mayonnaise, Sriracha, and lime juice to make aioli.
  • In another bowl, mix vegetable oil, cauliflower florets, sea salt, and ground pepper.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together all the batter ingredients until smooth.
  • Heat oil in a deep fryer.
  • Dip cauliflower in batter and fry in hot oil until golden brown.
  • Serve fried cauliflower with spicy Sriracha aioli.

Notes

Adjust spice level by varying the amount of Sriracha in the aioli.
