Ingredients
  

  • 6 cups peeled and sliced apples Use firm apples like Granny Smith or Honeycrisp for best results.
  • 1 cup granulated sugar Adjust sugar based on apple sweetness.
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • ½ teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup packed brown sugar
  • ½ cup rolled oats
  • ½ cup cold butter, cubed

Instructions
