Ingredients
  

  • 3 naranjas for zest and juice
  • 300 g harina all-purpose flour
  • 0.5 teaspoon levadura química baking powder
  • 150 g azúcar moreno brown sugar
  • 200 ml aceite de oliva suave light olive oil
  • 3 huevos eggs
  • 1 teaspoon extracto de vainilla optional
  • 1 piece mantequilla for greasing the pan
  • 1 pinch sal salt

Instructions
 

  • Grate the oranges and mix the zest with the brown sugar, rubbing them together to release the oils and aromas.
  • Juice the oranges; use 180 ml of juice and mix it with the sugar, vanilla extract, oil, and the 3 eggs. Stir well.
  • In a large bowl, add sifted flour, baking powder, and salt. Once combined, add the liquid mixture you just prepared.
  • Combine everything together.
  • Before pouring the batter into the pan, grease it with a piece of butter, then add a tablespoon of flour and spread it to cover the interior.
  • Pour in the batter and bake the cake at 180 °C for 40 minutes. Before removing it from the oven, check with a toothpick if it's cooked inside.
  • Once baked, remove it from the oven and wait a minimum of 15 minutes before unmolding.
