Equipment

  • Skillet
  • Sheet Pan
  • Rolling Pin

Ingredients

Meat

  • 8 ounces Italian sausage
  • 4 ounces ham
  • 4 ounces pepperoni slices

Dough and Sauce

  • 2 pounds room temperature pizza dough homemade or store-bought
  • ½ cup pizza sauce homemade or store-bought

Cheese and Vegetables

  • 1 pound mozzarella cheese, grated
  • 1 medium red bell pepper, sliced thin

Garnish

  • Dried parsley garnish
  • Salt
  • Pepper

Instructions

Preparation

  • Preheat oven to 400°F.
  • Cook the sausage in a medium skillet over medium heat until it’s cooked through, about 8 minutes. Break up the sausage as it cooks.
  • Roll the dough out on a lightly floured surface into a rectangle roughly the size of your quarter-sheet pan. Transfer it to the pan, pressing it into the sides to form a lip.
  • Spread sauce in a thin layer over the dough, add cheese followed by all the toppings, finishing with dried parsley, salt, and pepper.

Baking

  • Bake the pizza for 20 to 25 minutes, until the crust is puffed and a deep tan color, and the center is bubbling hot.
  • Let the pizza cool slightly before cutting into square-shaped pieces and serving.

Notes

Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for about a week. For best results, reheat in a covered skillet over low heat for a few minutes.
