Ingredients
  

Milk and Spices

  • 1 cup milk Use your favorite dairy or plant-based
  • 0.5 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 0.5 teaspoon powdered ground ginger
  • 1 tablespoon mild tasting honey

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Place milk in a small saucepan and heat on low until hot but not boiling. Stir in the cinnamon, ginger, and honey until well mixed. Sip to soothe.
  • Or, place all ingredients in a microwave safe cup and microwave on high for 1-1 ½ minutes, or until hot. Stir, and sip.

Notes

As you sip the drink, the spices may settle to the bottom of the cup. Simply swirl the cup as you drink to keep those spices flowing. A thinner milk may make the taste of the drink a bit spicier than a thicker creamier milk.
