Butter and Corn

  • 4 Tablespoons Butter Salted or unsalted, as preferred
  • 2 Pounds Frozen Sweet Corn Thawed and drained
  • ¼ teaspoon Salt Plus more to taste
  • ¼ teaspoon Ground black pepper
  • ¼ Cup Heavy Cream
  • ¼ Cup Honey Add more to taste if desired

Instructions

Cooking Steps

  • In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat and stir in the corn, salt, and pepper. Cook for 5-10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  • Pour the heavy cream over the corn, reduce the heat and cook for 5 minutes or until the sauce has reduced slightly.
  • Mix in the honey and cook for an additional 2 minutes.
  • Serve and garnish with freshly cracked black pepper if desired.

Notes

You can use salted or unsalted butter depending on your preference for salt. If using canned corn, use 2 cans (15 ounces each), drained. If ¼ Cup of honey seems too sweet, start with 1-2 Tablespoons and add more as desired.
